Learn to Ride - 3 Wheel New Rider Course - PRIVATE OPTIONS ONLY

No experience required. The best place for a rider to start once they've made the decision to ride a 3-wheel motorcycle.

A 3-wheel motorcycle does not have to be balanced and does not lean. This course is designed for those with any experience level of riding. This course includes a few hours of classroom activities and several hours over two-days of on-cycle riding exercises. The course is usually scheduled over a two-day period and concentrates on controls operation, slow speed finesse, cornering, braking, swerving, and emergency avoidance skills. Successful completion may lead to an insurance discount. A person must pass a knowledge and skill test for successful completion. This course qualifies for a GA 90-day license waiver allowing an individual to obtain an "M" license.

Note: Individuals need an "MP" motorcycle permit before attending class.

  • Earn a 90-day license waiver from the Georgia Motorcycle Safety Foundation to get your GA motorcycle Class “M” license without any additional testing by the Department of Driver Services. License Waiver expires 90 days from your graduation date. 

Training requires physical movements and the ability to stand and/or ride for 90plus minutes between breaks. Some classes may be in extreme sun or cold or heavy rain. Please keep the physical requirements in mind when signing up. There are NO refunds or reschedules available for non-completion of the course.

WHAT YOU ARE REQUIRED TO BRING

  • Any street-ready 3-wheel motorcycle. We do NOT provide the 3-wheel motorcycle
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Valid motorcycle endorsement- Class "M" or Class "MP"
  • Proof of valid registration to YOUR VEHICLE
  • Proof of valid motorcycle insurance for YOUR VEHICLE
  • A DOT approved helmet
  • Protective eyewear
  • A heavy long-sleeve shirt and/or jacket
  • Leather pants, chaps over jeans or jeans - NO HOLES
  • Full-fingered gloves
  • Over-the ankle, sturdy footwear like motorcycle riding/hiking boots - NO TENNIS SHOES

Course size is a maximum of two participants and one Coach.

Tuition: One student with one coach is $700.00; two people are $600 each. 

(Maximum of 2 students to one instructor).

CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING POLICY: There will be no refunds for ANY cancellation or request to reschedule a class made by a student within 7 full days of the first day of class. For example, classes starting on a Friday MUST be canceled or rescheduled no later than 6:00 PM on the Friday preceding the class in order to be eligible for refund or rescheduling. Class fee is forfeited if a student is a NO SHOW or attempts to cancel or reschedule within 7 days of their class start date.

Motorcycling is not for everyone. Some students may discover this for themselves during the course. At other times, struggling or uncertain students may be counseled out and unable to continue in the riding sessions. They are welcome to finish the classroom portions with the understanding that they will not receive a class completion card or a license waiver and are welcome to retake the entire course at a later date at the regular tuition price.

Coaches are required to maintain the safety of all participants. Any student creating an unsafe condition, as determined by the Coaches, will not be allowed to continue in the course.

There are NO REFUNDS for any reason or condition of non-completion of the course. You are welcome to retake the entire course at a later date at the regular tuition price.
